Title: FS9 Planes in FSX
Post by boeing247 on Jul 15th, 2011 at 7:14pm
I came across a really some really good freeware addons (they used to be payware), but they're all for FS9 (hence why they are now freeware, the designers now create payware for FSX). What tweaking is generally required to get FS9 planes to install and work correctly in FSX?

Thanks,

Sometimes you don't need to do anything, other times you need to make changes to the textures. To be able to see through the windows, they must use a transparency texture.

If they need to be installed (use an installer) they will usually end up in FSX\Aircraft. Copy them from there to the FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes folder or else you won't be able to see and select them.
