Thats sad that they've lost so many of thoe nice planes. The reason so many MD-11 accidents happen is because the MD-11 has a very hot or fast approach, and manypilots screw it up. Thats why FedEx has lost so many MD-11s. Another thing, last year when I saw the video of that crash from the terminal, I concluded much of it must have been pilot error, when he bounced, the pilot could have easily brought the plane back down, but as you see, the nose was driven into the ground. I think thepilto, for some reason, shoved the stick forward, and thus caused the plane to lose control and crash.
