Hi guys! Just got my 767! �:D
Im noticing that as its cruising (even now) the throttle keeps going forward for a few then back down then up, etc. �:-/

Any thoughts?

Does it hold the assigned speed? Are there any wind shifts outside?

You may also find that it could well be an FSX or hardware Calibration issue. I have a number of Heli's that the collective bounces up and down. As it's having no adverse effects on the actual aircraft I tend to ignore it. I know it doesn't look nice but have not as yet found a cure.

I think there were just a few knots...but I just did a clean install of my os. and got fsx and addons its own hdd. before doing that the 767 was just running perfectly fine even those heavy headwinds.

Well, if the A/T holds the assigned speed, I wouldn't worry much about the throttles dancing (unless it has a negative impact on the engines).

There's a big difference. A 10-20knot winds or something...and my assigned speed is 500knots crusing...it would be at around 460-470 knots while the throttles are going forward and back.

since the cs was my last time installing it on here, im going to reinstall fsuipc and see what happens.

I believe it isn't necessary to reinstall fsuipc. When autothrottle [A/T] is engaged, the throttle levers movement is normal, like in real planes, "...going forward for a few then back down then up, etc...".

In some cases, the system will also physically move the throttle levers in the cockpit as is the case with Boeing and several other aircraft types. In other aircraft such as Airbus products, the throttle levers remain static even if thrust is being manipulated by the autothrottle."

Now im wondering...the cost index..hmm

Plus..its not maintaining its assigned speed
