Title: Re: Re-installing Captain sim products Post by Markoz on May 6th, 2011 at 2:51pm ottoramsaig wrote on May 6th, 2011 at 12:56pm:
To back up my files in FSX, I put them in zip files. I structure the folders in the zip file like they are in FSX (see image for how I did it for the C130). To replace them after reinstall FSX and the C130 (or after just reinstalling the C130) I extract to FSX root folder, when asked to overwrite, I say yes. In those folders, I have backup original unmodified files and my modified files (usually the CFG's) and nothing more than that except maybe additional liveries so I DON'T have to redo adding the liveries after reinstalling everything! Hope this helps. Mark Note: In the Captain_Sim\130 folder is another folder name manuals (I extract the PDF manual(s) in there), nothing else is in there because I never modified any of the files in there.
