Title: Changing "Call Signs" Post by ottoramsaig on May 3rd, 2011 at 2:44pm
Is there a way to change FSX call signs? For example on the C 130 ATC refers to you as SAF. I would like to change it to something a little more realistic.
My B 727 is Ok with Pan AM 001 though I would like to change that also. |

Hi ottoramsaig, I think you must try to change the call sign at: C:\Program Files (x86) > Microsoft Games > Microsoft Flight Simulator X > SimObjects > Airplanes > CS_C130 > aircraft.cfg ................................. [fltsim.5] title=CS C130X 5 sim=C130 model=g panel=g sound= texture=swe kb_checklists= kb_reference= atc_id=SAF atc_airline=Flygvapnet or Air Force (It was SAF) atc_flight_number= ui_manufacturer=Lockheed ui_type="C-130E" ui_variation="Swedish AF" ui_typerole="Multi-Engine TurboProp" ui_createdby="Captain Sim" description="'C-130 X-perience' Pro Pack v.1.3\n(c) 2008 Captain Sim www.captainsim.com" flg="Sweden AF" ................................ Check if the new call sign exists at airlines.cfg. If not, add it. Further readings: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airline_codes Best regards, Pinatubo. |

Got as far as "AIRCRAFT.CFG" I do not have a program to open it. I am running Win 7. I also noticed that my Root Folder was in the Program Files not the Program Files (86X) |

Did that. Copied the C130 cfg file to desktop folder were I modified it to reflect the ATC Call sign from C130, USAF, SAF to C130, Air force, 775. However after I open the game the original atc call signs were still there.

Model Lauren Bush is planning her wedding to Ralph Lauren's son David Lauren. The granddaughter of former President George H. Bush, says after the wedding her married name will likely be Lauren Bush-Lauren.
"Out of all the people I could've met and fallen in love with," Bush, tells Harper's Bazaar. "It's just ironic that David would end up with someone named Lauren. I think it will be Lauren Bush-Lauren. That's not final, but I think it's nice to have the same name as your husband. I am sort of old-fashioned in that way." Bush will wear a wedding dress by her future father-in-law for the nuptials, which she would like to be intimate. "Small, we know small," she says.
