DAL 191-- I am reading the manuals, more than a lot of people do, thank you very much. If I weren't reading the manuals, I wouldn't even know what VNAV or a localizer was. Yes, like LOU said, I should read more, and I am doing that, in fact I did just an hour or two ago, but there is a difference between a sheet of paper and a real person who can answer your questions. However, thank you for directing me to the correct page.  ;)

I just realized I had phrased my question wrong, I meant this:

Mark sad that programming in the STAR will take me into the ILS intercept. Since ATC usually vectors me to the G/S intercept altitude, I was asking what I needed to do to find that altitude. Sorry, my bad.  ;)
