Title: The most beautiful Post by pj747 on Apr 7th, 2011 at 4:01am
This one's a beauty
Those engines are sure dependable. She needs a lot of TLC, and is undergoing restoration, but who blames her? She's 42, and she's seen so much and done so much, and she's been the icon of flying for many years, what those cockpit windows have seen. Here's more: An iconic airliner, lots of power, suave and lots of memories made and being made, truely a fine feat of engineering, greater than an A380, Empire State Building, F-22 Raptor, over even Space Ship One, or even her older sister the 747-8, a magnificent example of human determination and skill ,to create an airplane larger than anywthing ever before, without previous experiance and doing it, with success and taking the world. I'm no sissy, but every time i see one of these fly I get a tear in my eye, for what an amazing feat to make a plane so huge fly, and what its done to this amazing, and beautiful world. |

Sonoace you are now one of my best friends! Yeah Airbus doesn't make good planes, besides their A380 needs to make 265 to break even, and they only have orders for about 259, and will never reach 1,000 like teh 747's. See this plane is still too big for its day, and it was subsidized by the government. If it hadn't been for the government (of European countried) they'd only be making A320/A321's. The A380's biggest issue is that a plane that will never break even, is just taking away from the orders of the better 747-8 Intercontinental, which has better effeciency and lower operating costs and can hold almost as much people.... its so right Whiskey, teh 747 is the pinnacle of airliners and its the single most iconic plane of all time and can and would be the flagship of the Captain Sim fleet and draw many more customers.

I'm also hoping for a classic 747 from CS. I bought one from a different company and I haven't actually lifted off the ground yet--it doesn't seem to be worth my time. >:( That would never happen with Captain Sim.
