The main reason I don't use ILS is because of things like what happened to me last night. I was sitting  in front of my computer for an hour flying to Istanbul. When I got near the airport, the tower vectored me wrong and decided I should land on a taxiway  :P. ILS wouldn't have done me much good there.  ;)

Anyways, the doppler isn't that hard to use. There's detailed instructions in the second manual. The INS is a lot harder, though, and I know a good video tutorial if you need one. While I can use the INS (shakily, albeit), I don't because Lou tells me that the 707 really used doppler, and not INS.
