I agree with Yannick. While I'm flying the 707, I actually have something to do (mess with the doppler), whereas in the more modern jets, I just turn on the autopilot and sit back. I never use VNAV or ILS because then all you actually do is taxi around. In a real airplane, there would be things to do, but in Flight Sim, not so much.
