Title: Restoring Help? Post by Berlopez on Feb 15th, 2011 at 6:07pm
Can anyone help me with restoring the default 737-800 radios?
I attempted to install PAD'S Emb.190 and apparently ruined it? :'( All I get now is a black empty box. |

Hi Berlopez, Did you try to reinstall MSFS (repair mode)? Sometimes, it solves the problem. Pinatubo. |

When Bernardo emailed me about this, I sent him a reply advising him to do just that. I don't know why he hasn't already tried that. :( Mark |

Lou,Marl and Pinatubo: Thanks for your replies. The reason Why I haven't gone ahead with a reapir in FSX \Gol\Acceleration is that I have read in Google that after a reapirFSX\Gold Won't start, even after activation; So that's what kept me form doing so.
Do I have to run all discs,or only the first two? I'm trying to get someoone to send me the 737's panle folder so I can reinstate it...Would that work? |

Hi Berlopez, I reinstalled the game several times and I never had any kind of problem even after activation. My FSX is a Deluxe Edition, with two DVDs and I usually always run the two disks. If there was a major data breakdown, I believe the best thing to do is uninstall it and reinstall the entire game. I don't know if reinstalling just the B-737's panel files, will resolve the problem. Good luck. Pinatubo. |

I have FSX Deluxe and Acceleration, I have never had any problems "repairing" them. If you do the repair, do ALL the discs. Remember that FSX is most probably the RTM version, which the repair will return FSX to. Running the Acceleration disc (the 3rd disc) will bring FSX up to Acceleration/SP2. It will/should repair everything to its original order. It should not change the addon aircraft at all, because it doesn't install them in the first place.

Thanks for your help yesterday the 737 file and instructions you sent me did the trick. I think the 737_400.gau was corrupted inmy setup. |
