Gambler, I wasn't intending to 'warn" anyone about the product -- I have both the 727 and 707 and enjoy them both a great deal.  And I think the CS default flight model is an improvement over the 727.  However, I think the products are targeted towards a certain type of buyer who probably doesn't care that much about power settings and highly realistic engine instrument readouts.  On the other hand the systems are pretty comprehensively modeled.

There is really nothing else available for classic jets, and certainly nothing like the aesthetic quality of the Captain Sim products so I am happy to take them as they are.  I like to tinker with the flight and engine models and Captain Sim has been quite accomodating about my sharing the results.
