I've always found this to be the case with all FS jets and turbine-powered aircraft. I figured it was just that you have to apply more thrust to get moving from a standing start (overcoming inertia and all that) than to continue moving once you're already in motion. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how it's always been for me anyway.
