Having flown a flight ok with FMC etc, all good, but I decided I wanted to carry out pure and simple manual flight in order to land, however, couldn't use ailerons, rudder nor elevator.  It was as if the AP was still connected, even though I had disconnected it.  Any way around this bug?  All I could do was cut the engines and crash in order to make it to the ground.

Simply put, how do I go from AP to no AP at all?   :o
