Hello, I finally figured out that captain sim doesn't support the steam edition yet. Do you guys have any idea when they might be supporting it. Thanks.

Hopefully soon.

A long time ago, I made a short video of starting the engines on the B-52:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zu45XwRlzL0

It might be hard to detect in the video, but the the trick is this.

When the N1 reaches 20%, I press F1 to move throttle to the lowest setting, call it 0 (zero), then I press F3 to nudge it forward slightly. Once the engine fires, I press F1 again.

To control each throttle lever individually, I press, for engine #1, E, release the E key, then press 1 (not NumPad 1, but the one above they letters on the keyboard). Do not press E + 1, you must release the E before pressing 1!
For engine #2, press E, release the E key, then press 2, and so forth up to 4 for engine #4.

IMPORTANT: PRESS E, RELEASE THE E KEY, THEN PRESS 5, SO THAT ALL 4 LEVERS ARE NOW UNDER CONTROL OF A SINGLE THROTTLE LEVER/KEYSTROKE (LIKE F1, F2, F3 AND F4)! This doesn't apply if you have a multiple throttle lever like the CH Throttle Quadrant. You wouldn't believe the amount of times I have increased the throttle to start taxiing, only to find that my single throttle lever only controls a single engine/lever! :D
