On my system, using the C-130H Japan AF, I'm getting 38 FPS (external view). This is at YMML and my add-on scenery is as follows:
Orbx FTX AU Australia SP3, Orbx AU YMML v2.0 (Melbourne International), Orbx AU YMAV (Avalon) and REX2. I don't think I would call it a bug. What a your system specs? If you provide those, then we might be able to see why you are getting such low frame rates. Mark |

Yes it does: [fltsim.1] title=CS C130Extra2 1 sim=C130 model=10 panel= sound= texture=jap kb_checklists= kb_reference= atc_id=JAF atc_airline=JAF atc_flight_number= ui_manufacturer=Lockheed ui_type="C-130H" ui_variation="Japan AF" ui_typerole="Multi-Engine TurboProp" ui_createdby="Captain Sim" description="'C-130 X-perience' Pro Pack v.1.3\n(c) 2008 Captain Sim www.captainsim.com" flg="Japan" I started the engines and left it sitting there for quite some time and there was lots of smoke around the engines and wings. I thought I must have had the throttles above idle, but I didn't. I also noticed that after I shut down the engines the smoke stayed for a while. I haven't had time to check if that happens with the other models. I'll let you know what I find. Mark |

I also have this problem with the JASDF C-130H. It's horrible, smoke pours from the engines even though they are at idle. The French C-130H works perfectly however and with all the other versions my frame rates rarely dip into the high 30's. I've also noticed this same problem with any of the C-130H repaints I've tried from McPhat. Strange! :-/ |

at some point the effect of smoke disappeared and the model worked perfectly. As santafejay says is the model since I have tested with other textures and gives the same problem |

I would say it's definitely in the model. My reasoning:
If you change this the aircraft.cfg from this [fltsim.1] title=CS C130Extra2 1 sim=C130 model=10 to this [fltsim.1] title=CS C130Extra2 1 sim=C130 model=9 (same as the French AF model) Using model=10, I left mine sitting at the RAMP with the engines idling for 30 minutes and the smoke never cleared. When I changed it to model=9 and left it sitting at the RAMP with the engines idling for 30 minutes, no smoke showed up. I was still using the Japanese textures. Mark |
