Title: Few question here
Post by SonicBoom on Sep 3rd, 2010 at 5:50pm
Hi all,
I'm a new member here I'd recently own only CS 707 FS9. Now, I'm interested in buying 707 FSX here but...

1. First, does all the system in FSX 707 work? (for me in FS9 version, the pressurize system, and electric didn't work.)
2. Does the outboard aileron of the 707 locked while the flaps up? I always seen it move while cruising (FS9 version)
3.The EPR gauge in 707 FS9 version rise steadily with the increase in air speed. Is that corrected? Why the EPR gauge in DF 727 stay constant with the change in airspeed?

That's all about it. Thanks for all of your reply.  :)

Hi there!

To your questions:
1. All the systems "should" work on the 707 for FSX. Some of them got bugs which have to be fixed and most of the bugs we've found so far are on the list for the next update. Look at my unofficial bug-list here:
http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1283500526

For example the elecric system works very well!

2. Theyre not locked, but theyre movement is limited. They move, but just a little.

3. The EPR gauges in the FS9 version were totally incorrect. But as far is I can tell, the EPR gauges in the FSX 707 work very well, e.g if you set the throttles to 1.80 EPR, they barely move up to cruising-level.

Altogether the FSX 707 is a great bird, altough there are a lot of minor bugs which have to be addressed. But the first update isnt too far away.  ;)
