707 Captains,

1. How do I get this Cabin Attendant Call Light (blue) off?
http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/7029/flightatt.th.jpg

I've tried all the "call" buttons around this light, it always stays on
This is on the list for the next update.

2. Where is the Fire Warning Sound?
http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/5093/firewarning.th.jpg

I see all the lights but don't hear anything that sounds like an alarm
Thats strange. Because the problem actually is, that once the bell is ringing you cant silence it.

3. Page 11, Manual 3 is talking about "Radio Master Switches"
Where are those? (I even asked the always calling Flight Attendant, no answer)

Could that be the two ones at the circuit breaker panel? By the way: Nice idea from Captain Sim to have some CBs "out" when loading the aircraft.

Havn't found them either. There seems to be none. I use the FS-key-combo to turn the radio master on.

4. EPR Bugs have to be set if going through the checklists.
Can't find them here. How and where can I set them?
http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/5610/eprbugs.th.jpg
There are no bugs, dont know if the 707 had them. Will check that and open a ticket if needed.

5. Page 12, Manual 3 says
Probe Heater Switches - ON
Check HEAT ON lights illuminate.
Probe Heater Switches - OFF
Check HEAT ON lights extinguish.

I do have a light there but it never goes on no matter which switch positions I try
http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/5130/probeheatoff.th.jpg[/URL]
I think thats a overheat light only. But I could be wrong. I'll check it out and open a ticket if needed. Thanks for the input.

6. Page 18, manual 3 explains
Check anti-skid switch guard closed.
Anti-Skid Test Switch - OUTBD & HOLD
Check inboard REL lights illuminate, and outboard REL lights remain extinguished.
Anti-Skid Test Switch - INBD & HOID
Check outboard REL lights illuminate, and inboard REL lights extinguish.
Anti-Skid Test Switch - RELEASE
Check all REL lights extinguished.

I can't get any lights on there, the windows are always blanked
This one is on the list for the next update.

7. I have sufficient "start pressure" right from the start (maybe that's why it's called "start pressure" ;D ) without any external air connected or an engine running. The reading is always the same.
http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/262/startpressure.th.jpg
This is the hydraulic pressure gauge.

8. Where is this switch to check e. g. the overhead lights or those in the cockpit without having to "press to test" everyone.
The 727 had such a switch, the 707 does not?

Dont think the 707 had one. Some were maybe retrofitted or specially ordered with such a switch.

9. The checklist on page 6, Manual 3 says
Engine Start Control Selectors  BOTH

I can't find a "both" but a "FLT ST"
http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/6650/engstartcontrolselector.th.jpg
There is no "BOTH" in the 707. "FLT ST" ist flight-start and only is used to start an engine in-flight. Use either "IGN-1" or "IGN-2", and change between them, e.g. "IGN-1" on odd days and "IGN-2" on even days.

10. I always have one or two overheated AC Units
http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/5411/acunitoverheat.th.jpg

How do I get them to run within their limits?
Turn the PACKS OFF for engine start. If theyre left on they will overheat. This is even standard-procedure on todays aircraft.
