How to animate some suposed objects as described in the manual like those: Oxygen Masks, Checklists, Caps... ? I put my mouse on, but nothing appears. Thanks. |

The oxy-masks and caps move while youre flying, e.g. when you make a turn or you fly through some turbulences. ;)

Ok this may be a bit of topic but still a vc question.
Does anybody know how to change the vc view point for example a little bit higher. I think the vc viewpoint is a bit to low, so every time i've been searching the overhead for example, i use a button on my yoke to "reset" viewpoint back to forward but then i have to change the height of my position to be able to look out. i guess there's som viewpoints in the cfg but i dont dare to change anything best regards mikael |

Shift+enter x5 sets the height to where I like it, then I just leave it there. There is another thread that hasa the permanent fix, but it involves editing your config file (no big thing). I haven't tried it yet due to my laziness.

Hi Mikael. You need to edit the eyepoint in the [Views] section of the aircraft.cfg . Like this: [Views] eyepoint=55.0, -1.6, 5.8 //eyepoint=55.0, -1.6, 5.55 FSX ignores everything after the //. I find it could be a little bit lower than 5.8, but it's not too bad so I left it where it is for now. You can try anything from the original 5.55 and up to or beyond 5.8. You will need to reload the aircraft after each change to see the results. AND make sure you backup the aircraft.cfg BEFORE you modify it so if you make a big mistake you can go back to the original!
