We advisedly used Legendary 707 exterior textures layout on the 707 Captain to provide maximum of compatibility with the Legendary 707 free liveries.

All details on the Legendary 707 free liveries conversion to work with the 707 Captain will be given in the manual Part I upon the ACE and Repaint Kit release.

For now, for those who are willing manualy convert and add the Legendary 707 free liveries to the 707 Captain:

1. Take bmp files b1,b2,b5,b6 from any Legendary 707 free livery zip.

2. Create new texture.yournewliveryname subfolder in ...\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B707-300 and copy the b1,b2,b5,b6 files there.

3. Create and copy 256x126 thumbnail.jpg into the same subfolder.

4. Convert the b1,b2,b5,b6 bmps into DDS as follows:
b707_b1_t.dds - DXT3 WITH ALFA
b707_b2_t.dds - DXT3 WITH ALFA
b707_b5_t.dds - DXT1 NO ALFA
b707_b6_t.dds - DXT1 NO ALFA  

5. Add new [fltsim.XX] section to aircraft.cfg
