The above is a quote from a Microsoft job advertisement dated 3^rd May 2010. It is possible that some former members of the ACES Studio might have applied, maybe even got it.

On the other hand, they may not have even bothered. Quite a lot of them went on to form a company called Cascade Game Foundry who  "will push new boundaries with the latest in cutting-edge graphics, simulation and web technology" (which doesn't sound much different from Windows Live Games or even Steam) and continue Flight Simulation and other simulations, further. So if they do, we could have some interesting simulations coming in the future. Including a newer and better Flight Simulator. Time will tell.
