Hi Wayne.

Glad you got it working!

From my experience with the A/P, when you turn it on, it holds the aircraft attitude that you are on at that moment. Pressing the "Z" key (MSFS default) turns on the A/P so all is good. All you need to do is adjust the attitude. There are two dials that can be used to change the pitch (adjust the attitude) of the aircraft to get your desired airspeed and vertical speed. I can do all this safely whilst looking at the A/P.



The Altitude Hold button (red box) has a center position which allows control of the pitch using the dials (green box). The A/P Master Switch (yellow box) flips ON or OFF when pressing the "Z" key.
