Greetings,
I seem to be missing something here about the flaps.  When I apply flaps they are either all down or all up.  There is no intermidiate stages. I am trying both the FSX keyboard command and the flap lever on the pedestal. It will click on the individual degrees  but the flaps are either up or down.
A problem or am I missing something on a setting? I looked in the manual and it said the flap lever uses detents on the pedestal for flaps settings but no joy.

Works for me. Using left mouse button click on Flap Lever and keep button pressed down.The mini icon tool tip changes and then drag lever to required incremental setting.

The Flaps are working fine for me.

Have you tried using the keyboard shortcuts, F6 to raise the Flaps in increments and F7 to lower the Flaps in increments? To do it in the VC I gently drag the Flaps Lever down , or up, to each notch. If you are using a joystick or yoke, have you configured the buttons/levers to the correct control?

Thanks fellas, now I have figured this out on my own.
Like I said up above I am using the pedistal flaps lever with the mouse and I use the keyboard. I also have a very extensive cockpit simulator I fly with so all levers are activated by real levers and switches by couterparts on my cockpit.
I was used to other aircraft to set the flaps at the specified degree before or while pretakeoff check.  I saw that with this A/C, I set the degree I wanted and when I was ready to take off and the engines throttle was activated the flaps would go to where I had set them. I don't know if this is correct or not but it works.

I really like the looks of this aircraft. I was waiting for this 707 for FSX for some time now. I do have one beef though. In order to use the autopilot one has to  look down on the pedestal to work the functions.  This I know is realistic, but it has been really hard to do this and still maintain an atitude with the aircraft. I think a pop up window for the autopilot control would help a great deal. It is a safety issue here and my passengers would appreciate not taking a roller coaster ride when I try to mess with the pedestal control area.  It is hard to chew gum and fly at the same time.

Glad you got it working!

From my experience with the A/P, when you turn it on, it holds the aircraft attitude that you are on at that moment. Pressing the "Z" key (MSFS default) turns on the A/P so all is good. All you need to do is adjust the attitude. There are two dials that can be used to change the pitch (adjust the attitude) of the aircraft to get your desired airspeed and vertical speed. I can do all this safely whilst looking at the A/P.

The Altitude Hold button (red box) has a center position which allows control of the pitch using the dials (green box). The A/P Master Switch (yellow box) flips ON or OFF when pressing the "Z" key.
