When I move my cursor over the new weather radar screen in v2.4, it changes to a hand with a pointing finger. However, when I click the mouse button nothing happens. I was wondering if the Weather Radar window should pop up when clicked, just as the GPS window appears when its screen is clicked.

I am able to popup the Weather Radar window using Shift+7. But it just seems to me that there ought to be a click spot for this purpose just as with the GPS.

Is this a bug, a fault of my machine, or by design?

BTW, I'm testing this in the 727-100 Pax model.

Mine doesn't either. Nor does it in any other aircraft that I have added the CS Weather Radar to, which is most of them, including default and add-on aircraft.

It could be worth adding a way to click on the WXR to make it pop up in the VC. But. The knobs and buttons in the VC work perfectly fine.

Mark, thanks for confirming that this isn't a machine-specific problem and that the gauge is working as intended. I was thrown off-guard by how the GPS popup works, and assumed that the weather radar would follow suit.

Maybe in v2.5.

To be honest Captain Sim, I am happy to continue operating it by mouse clicking the knobs/buttons in the VC. It was only when I added the NAV/GPS switch to the Autopilot in the panel.cfg that I saw the Weather Radar could be opened in a 2D panel using Shift + 7.
