When you start FSX go to Free Flight.
Under Current Aircraft click on Change.
Select the 727-100, DO NOT click on OK. Instead click on DETAILS.
In the Description for the 727-100 you should see the following lines:-

727 Captain (727-100 Base Pack) v2.3
(c) 2009 Captain Sim www.captainsim.com

Where I have hi-lighted in BOLD is the vesion number. If you have 2.2 installed it will display v2.2. As you can see, I have version 2.3 installed.
