OK . . . For some reason I can not get the autopilot switch to engage.  The gauges below the throttle are fine, its the gauges above the throttle that is causing the issue.  Meaning the knob that turns to heading, loc/voc . . . .etc will not turn and stick, it will turn but always sets back to off.  My last flight I tried, I turned the knob to HEADING and left it there all the way until takeoff.  Once I took off, the NAV and DME indicator kicked in, and with in seconds the autopilot knob above the throttle goes from heading to off and will not switch back and no more NAV or DME indicator.
