I just bought 757 and have noticed that the viewpoint in the 2d panel is a bit off. For example, I found a object (catering truck) at the same heigth as the cockpit windows and the view forward in the 2d panel, the top of the truck is just below the bottom of the window, however if I change the view to the left,right,forward left, etc..  the view is about 2-3 feet below the top of the truck. Its almost as if the forward view is at a height of 10 ft and the others are at 5 ft.I tried to change the views in the aircraft.cfg and panel.cfg but I am having no luck. Can someone help if what I described isn't too confusing?

Yeah, my problem is very similar. I would like to bring up the 'standard' views in VC, because now I can't see anything when I pressed the viewing angles on numpad. :(
I hope somebody can help us to solve these problems...

Back-up your original panel.cfg and do this:

Go into the panel.cfg and in the [views] section find the entries describing the 2d views like VIEW_REAR_LEFT_WINDOWS etc.
you have to change the eyepoint coordinates, these entries: VIEW_REAR_LEFT_EYE

I copied the ones of the Forward view (the first view entered), I also changed the zoom value to 0.75.

Now this will probably overlay the 2d views onto the VC, so delete the fixed window entries above the [views] section you were just editing. I had already deleted them so I'm not sure if they will be overlayed. MAKE SURE to leave the ones for the passenger window views there. They are described as PASS_RIGHT an PASS_LEFT.

I'd send you my .cfg file but I'm not sure if its against the rules so unless I get permission I'd rather not, don't won't to get in trouble especially since its my first post.
