I just completed a Moscow - Washington D.C. flight.  Everything performed admirably (and there was more than one REX weather update which caused no problems) with the exception of the sounds (yeah, I know, just sayin').  I did not have a Top of Descent, however.  I had a complete route, including a STAR and runway, so I'm wondering if I might have forgotton something in order to get a T/D.  I just descended using LVL CHG & V/S and landed manually (nice hand-flown approach feel, by the way, not that I would know, since I've never flown anything bigger than a 172, but when set up it coasted down nicely using throttles).
