Title: Auto Brake Function and other small issues
Post by Martin Martinov on Jul 14th, 2009 at 10:20am
Hi all!

First to Captain Sim - thank you for the great aircraft! CS 767 has a great potential and will become one of my aircraft of choice to fly

I would like to mention a few issues I experienced though, I hope it might help CS for the future patch.

1. Autobrake knob does not function - I guess you too know that.
2. Auto spoilers do not deploy on touch down (handle on ARMED)
3. During full auto landing the A/C oscilates on the localizer and the flare is too late providing hard touch down on the runway
4. The autothrottle sometimes changes speed to a setting not defined by the FMC and by the speed window on the MCP.

The interrior sound is OK (it took me some time to fix the issue - http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1247377039 - the real solution came from hochwang). However it would be nice to have F/O speed, L/G and flaps callouts together with aircondition and other ambient sound items.

Thank you

Martin

For the 1 point, switch to the 2D panel and then back to 3D and the auto brake will work...

Strange bug...

Uodate:

1. 2D panel fixes the knob movement and the auto brake operate normal

2. The Auto spoilers deploy normal (I guess it might be related with the A/B operation)

3. I prefer not to use it until the autopilot auto land function is refined

4. Autothrottle still makes sudden changes. Together with that in turbulence (produced by Active Sky Advanced) the autothrottle makes damatic unwanted changes.
Autothrottle has to be refined in the future patch.
