it's not.... if you are sure that all power sources are off and you still get the CDU lighten, then try to cycle all views in order to reload the gauges to their final state.. i'm quite sure this will make your CDU blank and dead.

Mmmm... This is what i do: (Sorry for my bad english)
1) Load the default cessna at tncm 2) Turn off the engine, master, avionics, battery and check that all is death. 3)Load the cs757, the 2d panel appears 4) Then, i open all the other panels (Overhead, radios, irs, etc etc) i open and close all the 2d panels. Anyway, the cdu is always on. Also, i can turn on the navigation and strobe lights, but not the taxi or takeoff lights :-? Any help? |

like i said before... after making sure you turn off everything (specially the power sources) cycle all views! (2nd panel; exterior views, Virtual Cockpit and after that check your CDU again, it must shown dark...

Ok, i cant make it. Its imposible to turn off the CDU. Is there a procedure to make this plane cold and dark?
I turned off all the power sources off in the cessna. Then switched to the Cs757. Everything is off, but the CDU is on. also, i can turn on the position and anti collision lights. If someone knows how to make this thing completely dead, please please, let me know :-/ |

Hi!, this is what i do, in order:
1) Load the default cessna and turn it off (Engine, battery, master, avionics, mixture) 2)Verify that the cessna is dead (Cannot turn lights, gps screen is black, etc) 3)Load the CS757 4)The plane loads in 2d view. then, one by one i open and close all the 2d panels (Animations, overhead, radio, pedestal, etc etc... all of then) 5)Use the 'A' key to cycle all the positions 6)Use the 'S' key to cycle all the views 7)Then, i verify: All is dead, but the CDU screen is turned on. If i turn on the position or navigation light, the light will turn on too. |

Yep, are you turning off the key in the Cessna? :-) I don't know what to say. If everything is truly dead in the Cessna, I have never had an issue with a cold dark cockpit in the 757.
Weird. Sorry. |
