Okay, after a reboot the airplane performed flawlessly.  Just one of those things, I guess.  Bogota to Mexico City is a lovely route.  Snowcapped mountains that quickly fall away to the coast.  Right now I can see Panama outside the co-pilot's window (but not the canal, at least not yet).
