I noticed that IRS is acting different with this new update... After aligning and facing all align lights disappear i couldn´t get the aircraft aligned... instead i see the 3 Align light Flashing as soon as i move the knobs into Nav position... this is something  i haven´t experienced so far... then i did set the LAT & LON manually and this worked... Although the ILS failed to detect the Localizer at LPPR.. something that never happened before...  anyway it could be just a random failure i haven´t tested a second time yet... but perhaps now the aircraft needs a real full IRS aligment? like the real B757?

did another test and like never before, i keep been asked by the CDU to Enter the IRS position, after all align lights get extinguished and moving the IRS knobs to their Nav position... Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, same issue here.

Set IRS to align, after all lights are out set to nav, align flashes for all 3 and FMC asks for IRS position.

peacedivision... Please try to enter the IRS manually as the CDU requests and tell me if your ILS Localizer intercepts the radio.. cause mine seems to be not doing the job...

I can enter the position manually and the aircraft flies fine.

I have had issues in the past with 4.2 not picking up a localizer, not sure if its related but I havent had that issue in my short time with 4.3 yet.

Seems the FMC can no longer calculate descents either?  When I complete my route programming the FMC will give me a t/c point, but no t/d and the jet will fly right through a STAR at cruise altitude.

Got it, thanks!  Just one extra step in the alignment process.  Still having inconsistent results with the FMC generating a t/d point but it is working when a route is very carefully entered manually.
