Title: Night lighting
Post by Hawkwind on Jan 21st, 2009 at 1:31pm
Hi guy's,

Just as a matter of interest, in a Cold and Dark cockpit at night, how the hell do you manage to see the switch(s) to turn the panel lights on??

Hawkwind.

A flashlight would be great.  ;D

Just kidding. I suppose you have to memorize where is the switch.

Where abouts are the panel lights?

The panel lights are a bunch of switches to the left of the pilots seat.
they're really big, so you can't miss them...
Clicking any one of them, turns all of them.

Maybe someone can give any tips how can I turn On formation lights? I try to do it, but no result on visual models...

Thank you.

Which still doesn't really answer the original question but makes me assume that from now on folks, when you start the flight at night in a cold and dark cockpit make sure you are wearing Night Vision Goggles  ::)

Hey,
I just tried to see the switches in a dark cockpit at night,
and I could (with some difficulty) see the white lines on and around the switches. Therefore, I could click on them, and light up the cockpit!!
Conclusion, only wear night vision goggles to get from the door to your seat ;)
