Title: 32 vs. 64 bit Vista
Post by CHBennett on Jan 21st, 2009 at 3:27am
After having the FSX program since it came out and not being able to run it on my current computer, I have finally ordered a computer capable of running FSX the way it should be run.  Now, I am looking for add on software, especially aircraft.  For old times sake, I am interested in Capt Sim's C-130 for FSX.  My question is, "Will this program run on 64 bit Vista"?

There should be no issue CHBennett... Many run FSX in 64-bit systems, such as myself with XP Pro 64.

The great thing about this (much as we saw in Windows 95 days) is that the greater OS still runs in a lesser mode.  Today we see things like FSX (32-bit app) which run in 32-bit mode on 64-bit OS, just like in Windows 95 days we saw things that were 16-bit from Windows 3.1 run in 32-bit mode.

It should be no issue!  I can't speak to C-130 though, as I don't have it.  757 and 727 work though!
