Title: Q: Possible to use FS2004 757 liveries in FSX? Post by bob_r on Jan 12th, 2009 at 5:35pm
Hi,
My apologies if this is a dumb question, or if it has been asked before (couldn't find anything using search)... Is it possible to download a Captain Sim 757 livery meant for FS2004 and install it for use by the FSX version? The one I downloaded recently (Northwest Airlines, new colors) stated that it is ACE compliant, but I'm not sure if the FS2004 version of ACE is compatible with the new FSX version, so I'm hesitant to try it. Has anyone successfully installed a FS2004 livery into CS 757 FSX? I've also noticed that the files in the FSX CS 757 texture folders have the extension .DDS whereas the FS2004 CS 757 texture files have the more familiar .BMP extension. Alternatively, if it is not possible to use FS2004 liveries, does anyone know where to obtain a Northwest Airlines new style livery for the FSX CS757? Thanks for any advice. - Bob |
