Title: Altitude Callouts
Post by Dandman on Dec 31st, 2008 at 9:13pm
Hi there,

I haven't heard altitude callouts on my final approach and I'm wondering why these sounds might not be playing... Not sure if it's a settings issue on the aircraft or a software problem?

Thanks,

Dan

Depending on the airline, the call outs should be

2,500

1,000

500

100

50
40
30
20
10

If they did not work, it would be difficult to land the aircraft.  Unfortunately on my computer the 757 is completely uncontrollable, so I've not landed it yet.

I just got the 757pro 5 days ago and I just get calls at 500 then 100 50 40 30 20 10 no more. interestingly enough, after 3 days my auto brakes finally started working, before that i could hear it click but nothing happened, just fixed itself?

I was pretty sure I was hearing callouts at 500 ft, and then 100 through to 10 ... They are now gone and I'm not sure why.

I've also noticed some small issues with autobrakes and my weather radar which is that the autobrakes handle is locked in place in the VC view.  If I adjust it in the 2D cockpit, it appears to release it and then works fine.

The weather radar has also reacted the same which means if I don't activate it via the 2D view, it occassionally does not fire up.
