Hi gentleman

I know this is an old thread but I do have the same problem and no joy fixing. I've done the sound.gau fix, with all the steps done properly several times and it works fine but ...
My problem is, if I restart my computer FSX will crash when the c130 is chosen. I must be doing something wrong. If I do the complete reinstall, with all the walkaround sound.gau the Captain Sim C130 will work again. I can exit FSX and come back and I still able to fly so the fix works. BUT if I restart the computer and try to fly the C130, FSX will crash even tho the .gau file has been renamed. :-/
Im using vista with FSX Accel

Please, would anybody have an idea what Im possibly doing wrong?
