Title: Re: Help Game crashing from C-130 Post by RCAF_Gunner on Jan 20th, 2009 at 4:05am
I had been running with my onboard Realtek HD audio and having some sound issues with the C-130 as well as other vendor's aircraft. The C-130 loaded fine but just had some sound issues.
In search of a solution for one of the other a/c over the weekend, I remembered I had a left over Creative Audigy 2 ZS from my previous computer so I thought I'd try it. I'm running XP Pro and it found the drivers for the card during the new hardware discovery routine BUT then the C-130 crashed with a BSOD when I tried to load it. This wasn't happening with any other a/c. Argh... but there's good news. I searched the Creative site and found newer drivers then the ones Windows loaded; I'm now running 6.0.1.1361 date June 27, 2008. Those fixed the C-130's problem and it runs fine now. Don't know if it'll help but thought I'd pass the info along. |
