Title: Sound issues.
Post by EGNR on Dec 30th, 2008 at 1:13pm
Just purchased the C130 Xperience for FSX, installed OK with one issue.

Whenever I start in the C130 I get a 'ticking' sound (which I assume is a sound looping in-correctly).

To get out of this I have to (Alt-A-Enter-Enter) to reload the aircraft, then I am able to start, etc. However I then get a decreasing engine sounds as I apply more power, until at full power they are completely silent - which is a shame as this is half the experience.

Don't have this issue with any other add-ons, including the CS 757. Have tried all the usual uninstalling, re-installing of the pack, latest sound and video drivers, etc - still the same.

Have logged this with support and received a reply that the article KB# 1918 refers to. So it appears this is a known issue which may be addressed.

Although I'm not after a date - can anyone confirm if another Service Pack is actually in the works please?

Cheers.
