Title: Formation Lights Post by Merkava on Dec 29th, 2008 at 6:28pm
Good day!
Great job. But I find one thing - I can't turn "on" formation lights on J models. I rotate knob all the clockwise, but nothing happen. Maybe I do something wrong? Thank you. |

Good day again.
Three years without unswer. 334 times of reading... Any news? Someone can turn Formation Lights "On" in FSX? Any visible stripes? If yes - teach me how. If not - why not? Thank you. |

Just thought of something.........you may have already done this but here goes. Not only are the strobes and landing lights on the Co-pilots side but above the pilot on the overhead console there a set of light switches near the top. To maintain proper light disipline, the pilot needs to set the switches to white light. I normally activate all the switches and it seems to work for me. Last time I saw the real C130 formation lights was in Iraq and those guys were flying with no navigation lights at all and I thought thats what the formation lights were for. :-/ :-/

I thought that the formation lights switch turned on the Nav lights and not the formation lights. Te reason I say that is because I have never seen the formation lights work in C-130 X-perience v1.3. :(

Thank you for unswer. So Formation Lights are removed from v1.3? Is any chance to know - why? It's still in features and still is instruction in manual how to operating it. |
