Nor on the Tail. The only lights I see are Taxi/Landing lights and a strobe under the belly. Night lights are dismal also..

Take a look at the overhead panel, at its left side.

You'll see the switches. You can turn on to 'flash' so tail strobe light will blink quickly. Also if may set anti-collision lights to white.

The strobes at wings are very weak...  :(

You have strobe lights at the top of rudder and at the top of the fuselage, very near the wings.

Cheers

Hey,
using the switches on the overhead panel,
I got all the lights to work except for the formation lights.
Seems like those don't work for me. all the other do.

there's got to be a way to turn up the lights to make them look better

I believe you have to install an add-on like 3D Redux

I noticed that some type's of C130 the strobe light's work and other's not!!!!
For example the C130 E USAF 70-s Camo the strobe lights work!
And the C130 J-30 USAF current grey the strobe lights don't work!
:D

I have not tested it as I do not have 3D Light Redux but please take a look at this link.

Maybe some guys found out how to work.

Oke but this is not for fsx I think!
Look at bottom page!
I have the program but it does not support the C130!

right if you have the 3d redux copy all the different aircraft cfg out of your c-130 files and place them some were you can find them i just placed them in folder named after were i got them so i know which one goes were

now you have done that copy and paste this code in to you aircraft cfg under the light section replacing every thing that is in that part now save file and enjoy to activate the new lights use your leading edge light switch

[lights]
; X, Z, Y
light.1 =  6,  3.0, -8.10, -15.50,  cs130_taxi //right
light.2 =  6,  3.0, 8.10, -15.50,  cs130_taxi //left

light.3 = 8, 0.76, -66.80, -1.00, cs130_nav_red_flash
light.4 = 8, 0.77, 66.80, -1.00, cs130_nav_gre_flash

light.5 = 8, -58.25, 0, -2.10, cs130_nav_whi_double
light.6 = 8, 11.75, 0, -15.55, fx_navwhi

light.7 = 8, -58.25, 0, -2.10, cs130_nav_whi_flash_double
light.8 = 8, 11.75, 0, -15.55, cs130_nav_whi_flash

light.9 = 8, 0.76, -66.80, -1.00, cs130_navred
light.10 = 8, 0.77, 66.80, -1.00, cs130_navgre

light.11 = 8, 23.24, 0.00, -15.59, fx_beacon
light.12 = 8, 5.29, 0.00, -1.47, fx_beacon

light.13 = 8, -48.59, 0.00, 21.70, fx_beacon
