I consider myself a pretty experienced FS pilot, and have normally never had any problems manually starting the aircraft. However, this one has me beat, thus far. I followed the checklist, but the problem it has is that it has no troubleshooting (or really detailed) procedures. Can anyone give me some step by step instructions. Basically, any time I switch the L Engine Start switch to GND, the VALVE light is illuminated, and the engine won't even start spinning. Any help is appreciated! Cameron

first, if you are a "3D-Panel Guy" open all 2D panels one`s to initialise the gauges.

my procedure for Block 2.0: (this is not a checklist)

Battery Switch = On
Check Parking Brake = Set
Dust Excluders / Engine Covers / Wheel Chocks = Removed
APU or External Power/Bleed Air Supply = Running or Established
External Power Switch = On (if using external power)
Doors = Closed
Position / Beacon lights = On
Left Engine / Right Engine / APU Bleeds = On
Packs (if weak APU in use) = Off
AFT / FWD / CENTER Fuel Pump switches = On

Engine Nr. 2 Starter Switch = GND
Until N2 reach 21%, Engine Nr. 2 Fuel Cut Off Switch = On

Engine Nr. 1 Starter Switch = GND
Until N2 reach 21%, Engine Nr. 1 Fuel Cut Off Switch = On

Continue with after start checks...
