My turbines doesnt spin. Is it an animation bug?

Not a bug. The first row of vanes on the real 727 engines do not spin. ;)

Hehe...I don't know why, you might want to ask someone at Pratt & Whitney why they designed them like that. ;)

I remember asking these cuestion in a FS Forum long time ago, after flying in a real 727 from Iberia in the very late 90's, and observing this issue.

Same happened with 707.

:) JT8D has a set of stationary inlet guide vanes which do not rotate, and they located immediately ahead of the fan. fans rotating and it visible if you look sharp :)
