Title: C130 starts a flt from the ACE>
Post by loadman on Nov 24th, 2006 at 4:38pm
:) Hi folks.

A short time ago I had a crash to desktop during a flt using the C130, since then every time I start the ACE and then hit "fly now" the C130 starts at the exact location where the CTD happened i.e in midair. How do I get rid of this situation without doing an uninstall and a reinstall ?  There has to be a link between the ACE and FS9 starting up which tells the C130 to go back to the last location at the CTD, I just don't know were to find this link and eliminate it.  Any help appreciated.

John. :-/

Hi, Have tried flying from fs9 itself rather than from ACE. Also was it a free flight or did you create a flight plan? As if you created a flight plan that is failing then you could delete it. It is normaly in my documents flight simulator. You dont have to re-install C-130 though you could always remove the ACE and instal it again. Also try isolating background programes that may interfere like anti-virus or firewell (only if offline though). Hope this will help some. :-/ :-/ :-/

Hi there.

Thanks for the reply.I did create a flt plan and have deleted it. Just to make sure I uninstalled the C130 and reinstalled it and it now works just fine. It only took about 10 minutes to uninstall and reinstall so no time was lost. I have just completed a 2.5 hours flt with no problems.

Thanks once again.

John.
