I'm seeking advice for the L1011's fuel panel. I know that the two inboard tanks feed engines 1 and 3 and the outboard tanks number 2.
But with cross feed, it's possible to feed any engine from any tank.
So my proposed strategy is...

1. Open the cross feeds and feed all 3 engines using the inboard tanks until the sum of the inboard quantity gauges equals twice that of the sum of the outboard tanks.

2..Then close the cross feeds, switch on the outer boost pumps and switch to tank/eng

Is this the correct procedure? I couldn't find anything online or is there something automatic in the background.
Thanks in advance!

Avid P3D CS 757 and 767 flyer here. I just tried the L-1011 now from the saved original CS flight with ready to take-off state as I have yet to understand how to poer on that thing. Fuel was 100% and no payload so quite light. After rotation nose up around 15° and after 1000 ft AGL slight reduction of power and flaps retraction etc. After slats up I notice the plane DESCENDING while still flying like 250 kts with about 10-15° ANU ?? Sorry for me that's the real killer about this aircraft. I don't mind about little bugs here and there but totally unrealistic fligh model is about the only real put-off for me. I'll still try to enjoy it but I seriously doubt I can.

Hi captain!

Now I only fly L1011 on P3Dv4.5, before on FSX.
Looking at your picture, a little question, I see that the frequency in NAV1 and NAV2 are different, is NAV2 on a valid DME frequency? Try setting 115.95 in NAV2 as well to clearly see if there are any issues.

On the ADI instrument in V4.5 it works fine, the only bug is that the color of the outline (sky zone) is different from that of the First Officer. Black instead of blue. I guess it's a mistake. But the roll indicator does work.

yes!

I have installed it in P3dv4.5 and it works very well.
I had to do was modify the path of the included sound file since it is ready for FSX, if you don't know how to do it, I can explain it to you.

Hi,
I now succeeded in succesfully updating the INS.The manual
contains a statement that leads to confusion though:it says to
put the nav selector on NAV,when it should be to put Thi on
VOR.This led me to put the autopilot from heading to nav, which,of course did not work.If you put the nav selector on VOR,coming
from FMS,all works out fine.
This once more convinces me or the quality of this superior
software8

Finally, there seems to be no way to hold speed in cruise, other than by close observation and occasional throttle adjustments. I am assuming this is correct.

I use the Autothrottle to hold the speed during cruise. I usually set it to around 270kts-300kts depending on altitude (whatever keeps it close to M0.84).

I have it sort of fixed, but it's a WIP. I'm not even sure how I did it. There seems to be no clear correlation between GSX's setup and aircraft commands. The biggest problem now is that the fuel truck won't leave until I use the built-in fueler (I assume the F&P) which doesn't quite work the way some progressive fuelers in other third-party a/c work. It's pretty impressive as is--no crashes, passengers boarding, etc. Haven't decided whether I'm buying into it yet. Just using the trial airports.

Thank you for your reply. My mistake, I should have mentioned that I done that. When it didn't work, I uninstalled the aircraft and then reinstalled with the exemptions for ace and fpm intact from the first install.
