Totally agree. I hope CS will take their time with the new version to get it perfect before release. Issues already mentioned in this thread was one of the reasons why I uninstalled the 757.

But I'm optimistic for the new version, and I'm looking forward to the release.

I think the most glaring thing in regards to the flight model that needs to be improved is the flare on an autoland. Right now the flare is too late, resulting in a reduction of descent rate from only 700 to 400fpm, it needs to reduce below 100fpm or lower at touchdown.

When you guys say better low speed handling, do you mean that the aircraft does the wobble when LNAV/VNAV is engaged? I only get that on approach at low speeds, errr bellow 250 IAS.

It's much better than SP 4.5 though and I can live with it because it remains on the correct heading and usually corrects its self after about 15 seconds.

+1  I totally agree!  That's one of the reasons I don't use the autoland feature (more like auto-let-me-see-how-hard-I-can-make-this-landing  Wink ).  The other reason being that I just like to manually land my aircraft anyway.  Cool

Captain Sim has one of the best autoland features that I know of in the flight sim world.  It truly gives you that next level of immersion.  As I stated before, I love a good manual land, as do most real world pilots, so this is not a major issue to me usually.  If I am ever in low visiblity conditions, where a visual approach is not an option, it would be nice to have.  I would love to see the bugs worked out.  Smiley

As I am not sure if my post pertains to the flight model, I will add something that might.  When I think about the current flight model, no outstanding errors come to mind.  I suppose if I were to request something, it would be more animations.  I love the ones included, and I don't have much to suggest.  My imagination is not the greatest either though, so I would really be happy with anything you throw at me (I've been very impressed so far.  Your standard of quality is unmatched Grin ).  If I were to suggest something for this topic of animations that I have brought up, it would be possibly adding an air stairs animation.  I am aware that 757's aren't generally, if at all, equipped with on-board air stairs; however, I am not talking about air stairs like the Captain Sim 727 has, but rather a external set of air stairs that potentially move, similar to the freight loader thingy (which I am sure is the technical name Wink ).  The only reason I suggest this consept is because of cargo flights and flight where you arrive at an airport without jetways (Jackson Hole - KJAC for example).  Also, a BONUS on top of that would be to have them customized to the specific airline.  This may not even be the case in real life, in fact, I am almost certain it is not.  I'll leave the reasearch of that up to you.  You are after all the developer.  Wink  The reason I mentioned the airline specific stuff is because I would like to see it be more incorporated (maybe not in the air stairs if that is not the case in the real world) into the different aspects of the add-on (for example I have some textures for the 757 that changes the interior of the Delta 757 to be accurate to Delta's actual 757 interiors).  You did it with the flight attendant models on your planes, now I would like to see the incorporated elsewhere.  Cool

Now I know I have spouted off a lot of information, especially for a guy who has three total posts or something on here from the time I joined (which was quite a while back).  Shocked This can probably be attributed to the fact that it is very late here, or early depending on how you want to look at it.  Regardless, I feel as though I have shard a few of my opinions on the future deveopment of this product, and I hope you take them into consideration.  As I mentioned earlier, my thoughts may not be all together due to the hour it is here.  Cheesy If my ideas, especially for the air stairs, seem a bit strange or as though they might insult the product (like if I had suggested that it be outfitted with afterburners and rocket launchers), I do apologize.  I love the product very much (for a while it was the only plane I flew on ANY route  Shocked ), and I cannot wait to see what you have in store with 5.0!  Thanks!  Smiley

I think what you need is the FSDT GSX software.

You can D/L a trial version for free that works fully at 3 airports.
If you like it you can then purchase it.

Yeah flight model should get some major improvements, on CS 757 and 727 it seems to be a bit boring and lacking dynamic feel of what some other addons out there offer, including newer CS planes such as 707 which has really nice flight model in my opinion.

Together with some bugs on release over a year ago flight model was one of the main reasons why I have since then used competitors 757 instead of CS one.

absolutely a more realistic flight model, the rudder and ailerons are too sensitive, and the plane flies like a fighter jet
