I really love how you can adjust lighting in the B737 via different switches, (e.g., Different switches for different panels, overhead, background, etc.). It's nice to actually be able to "dim" the cabin lights for takeoff but still have my instruments all light up in front of me. Smiley That would be awesome in the 5.0!

+1 better lighting. The 707 is great to fly at night--the lighting is fantastic (personally, I think it's the best if not one of the best), but the lighting in the 757 and 767 is pretty bad, I have to say. Especially the fact that turning on some switches seems to counteract other switches.

And a virtual cabin and better textures would be great, but just as long as it doesn't hurt FPS too much. (I'd rather have a smoothly-running aircraft with no cabin/HD textures than a laggy one with)

Finally, one of the most major things the 757 is lacking, which bugs me every time I fly, is the fact that the autopilot and FMC buttons are not modeled. A lot of addons include that feature now, and it looks great.

Thanks!

Please, don't forget to provide a lavatory (toilet) for the 757 FREIGHTER crew.

Nowadays I think the unlucky CS 757 freighter pilots must use a loo like this one. Shocked

Two sets of textures. HD and Normal, and the ability to switch between them using the ACE would be great.
Something similar to the one used in the C-130 X-perience ACE (I think that one only changes the specular textures).
I know this will increase the download size, but it will be well worth it.

Light switches that turn on what they say they do. e.g. Logo Switch turns on the Logo Light.
Have the Landing Light Wing switches paired so if you click on one of the Wing Landing light switches they BOTH turn ON/OFF.
Have the Taxi Runway Turnoff light switches paired so that if you click on one, BOTH switch ON/OFF

You should be able to choose retrofit or modern cockpits in ACE.

One of the many instruments that need to be "modernized" is the mastwer warning/caution anunciator. Should look more like clear plastic...

You should be able to see the nose from the cockpit. That would make this realistic. I've been trying to work on a retrofit cockpit but it hasn't gone well. So you should put that option in ACE.

yes +1

and I would like to add that I really like having the full cabin and CS should do nothing less for 757 5.0.

It's something that sets their aircraft apart from the others and adds a lot to the sim IMO.

Hi all. Been flying the 757 for a number of years, but never made it over to the forums. Lot's of great stuff here.

Something I'd like to see, just one of my pet peeves:

Can you remodel the thrust levers? The knobs look like the ones out of a 737, and look nothing like the ones that should be in the 757. I know this has been discussed in the forums before.

Also, Shared Cockpit compatibility would be amazing. Operating a complex aircraft like this would be fantastic with a first officer equally as proficient as the captain.

The current 757, certainly considering it's age, already has a very good VC.

That said, I'd like to see more 3D: CDU buttons, gauge needles... I don't care about circuit breakers, when they're not functional.

Night lighting could be improved as well over the current version. But in general, every new CS product I see looks better than the previous, so just keep that up and it should be awesome.
