Quick question, are they releasing it or just showing some pictures, or just an update? I understand not wanting to set a definite date, but some pics or progress update would be nice.

I don't think that's their style. I know that they've done it with the 707. But that was a one timer. I don't think so with the 777. I think they show previews by releasing the exterior.

Patience. It shouldn't be too long before they release it, but don't expect it within the next month (miracles do happen, though  Wink).

I don't know how the progress with the 777 is going. But I wouldn't expect to see or hear anything about it in the forum until it is either released, which is the Captain Sim way, or just a day or two before release.

We might be lucky to see images of the interior. Although that was what they did for the B-52 Driver, which was the first and only time I saw them do it. I expect that I will go to the Captain Sim web page and it will be announced there. It will also be announced on Twitter and Facebook, so I might find out that way.

And they have a competitor now  Tongue

But knowing them, it should be out in 2095 and lack features such as a throttle quadrant on the 2D panel  Grin

Is this referring to Captain Sim or the competitor? Grin

I believe the CS 777 will be VC only when the interior is released. The latest full releases by CS the 727 and 707 are VC only with some popup 2D panels. So you had better learn to use VC and forget the 2D panel.

I think the trend, at least for new CS products, will be to develop and release just VCs ones. My first all VC plane was CS B707 and it was a little hard at first, but nowadays I like to use them. I my opinion they are more realistic than those with a lot of 2D panels. I hope CS release B777 full model, soon. I can't wait to fly her, too. Smiley

I first started using VC only in FS9 (FS8 had VC but nothing was usable). I got used to it very quickly and have never wanted 2D Cockpit since. Sometimes a 2D Panel can be handy, such a the Autopilot, but not much else. But that's my opinion. It would be nice to have an option tochose if you want a 2D Cockpit or VC, just to be fair to those that prefer 2D.
