This Captain Sim I must say is one of the most insane and outlandish ideas of picking up traffic and business on your website but...

Imagine offering your products for free during let's say a 10 min interval on a certain day that will be kept secret from all other other than CS employees.

Announcing to the entire FS community that for 10 min on a specific day this or any month CS will be offering all products for free.

This will increase traffic by 400% at least and increase sakes no doubt.

This would be a one day thing and again the day CS does this would be kept secret from the FS community.

Just a thought let me know what you all think Cheesy

Also, in ten minutes for the word to get out and actually have a noticeable amount of traffic flow through the website would be marginal at best.

No profit for Captain Sim and the site might get bogged down with everyone want to get the whole range of aircraft for free. Why not just have a sale like the one they had in December. Captain Sim did well out of that AND earned money as well. That's my thoughts on it.

I agree with Markoz, but I also had another idea:

Maybe sell the base packs at 50% - 80% off for a limited time (time limits always bring more sales), and when people realise how good they are, they'll pay full price (which to be honest isn't very much anyway) for the addon (variant packs).

How on earth did this thread (is that the right term? I'm new...) get started anyway?
