Anyone willing to teach me ILS landings?

I know how to do an ILS landing in the another company a320, fine. I know how to do a visual landing in the 737-200, but ILS mmmmm..... Got no clue! Tongue
Any lovley pilots willing to help me out?
I would sure be happy  Cheesy

What I do, is approach the ILS at no more than a 30o angle, and below the Glide Slope.
I set the AP to AUTO APP, until it has captured the GS, then I set it t MAN G/S (I find that this helps it hold the GS a bit better), then once I'm about 3-4nm out, I switch it back to AUTO APP.
Once I reach the Decision Height (usually set to 100-200 feet), I turn the AP off (press the Z key on the keyboard), and land the 737 manually.

I would really like to upload a video (YouTube), to show you how I do this, but at the moment, I can't get Nvidia Shadowplay to start/stop recording when I want it to. It isn't automatically saving the last 10 minutes of play either, so until I get those working, I can't upload a video to YouTube. Sad

I thought the 737-200 from Captain Sim was abandoned, however i now see there is still a nice community (including me) helping others even though it is not easy to find videos on Youtube, so i have attached my tutorial of the 737-200 and you are welcome to check for any errors! Wink
737-200 Cold & Dark to up in the air!
Before you start, load up Cold and dark in the load flights menu, then select the airline e.g. Alaska airlines and press go to airport e.g. Fairbanks. Now you have a cold n dark 737-200 at your airport with your desired airline. Also create a flight plan in FSX and save it.

1.      Turn on battery and close switch
2.      Put TRI 1 to bat bus
3.      Switch AFT 1 to on
4.      Switch the APU to start
5.      Switch both APU gens to on (inner black switches)
6.      Put TRI 1 and APU GEN to TRI and APU GEN 😊
7.      Put yaw damper on and press test button next to it
8.      Turn Galley to on
9.      Put emergency lights to auto
10.      Put seatbelt and no smoking signs to on
11.      Put window heat Left & right SIDE & FWD to on (the 4 buttons, don’t switch the middle one)
12.      Put L & R pack on and the APU bleed-the middle one (All of the bottom switches!)
13.      Switch Gasper fan on
14.      Switch the right pack on ONLY
15.      Change altitude (DO NOT PUT ABOVE 35,000 FEET. THE AIRCRAFT CAN NOT HANDEL THAT HEIGHT!) then runway elevation to the arrival airports elevation.
16.      Leave autopilot alone unless you want to fly VOR (we use GPS, because you can’t do Waypoint flying in the 737-200, the systems are too old, so back in the day they would of dialled in the frequency for each waypoint and turn-lucky we have auto frequency!)
17.      Change the Pressure, located under the Altimeter
18.      Fill out FMC (won't allow me to put video in) btw it is in Russian so yeah sorry but that’s the best I found!
19.      Press and hold QTY test button until all the arrows reach 0
20.      Turn the rest of the fuel pumps on (step 3, but flick all the switches accept AFT 1 because you already have 😊)
21.      Turn pilot Static A & B to on position
22.      Turn anti-collision lights on
23.      Turn of right pack
24.      READY FOR ENGINE START-YES SIRRRRR!
25.      Switch engine 2 to GRD
26.      Once engine 2 reaches 6-10% push the engine 2 mixture control to 100%
27.      Repeat process for engine 1
28.      Turn on left & right fuel pumps
29.      Switch cross feed on (a blue light will come on saying “valve open”
30.      Turn GEN 1 & 2 on
31.      Turn TRI 1 & APU GEN to TR 2 and GEN 1
32.      Turn left and right packs on
33.      Turn off APU bleed (we have stable ground power from both engines)
34.      Switch cross feed off
35.      Turn APU to off
36.      Turn position light and wing light to on
37.      Turn taxi light on
38.      Set flaps (I recommend, flaps 5)
39.      Release parking brake
40.      Taxi to runway!
41.      Turn landing lights on and taxi lights off.
42.      Turn onto the runway
43.      Push the throttle up to 10% to stabilize engines for 3 seconds
44.      Then push it up to 50% for another 2 seconds
45.      Finally engage toga at 100% power and lift off a Rotate (your Rotate speed is in the CDU, press V ref/ number 8 and you will see three numbers the second one is Rotate speed)
46.      Climb to 1500 feet with a 10-15degree pitch
47.      Engage both autopilots
48.      Switch autopilot mode selector (big knob) to VOR LOC and it will follow your GPS route.
49.      Once you reach FL170-FL200 your speed will start to drop so pitch the aircraft down to 5 degrees climb and re-engage your pitch autopilot.
50.      Once you reach your cruise altitude switch the auto pilot pitch mode selector to ALT hold
51.      Slowly move your throttle up and down, until your aircraft only increases speed very slowly
52.      Wait until you get 50miles until you get to your arrival airport then pitch the aircraft down and re-engage the pitch autopilot
53.      Level off at 3000 feet and do a visual landing. The aircraft does have ILS but I don’t know how to use it, anyway it is a great aircraft so it is very easy to land manually!
54.      9 miles out, put the landing gear down and the landing lights also put flaps to 5
55.      6 miles out put flaps to 15
56.      4 miles out put flaps to 30 or 40 depending on how short the runway is…
57.      Also choose your auto break (off, min, med and max)
58.      Off=no auto break, you break manually MIN= breaks until you get to 100 knots MED=breaks until you get to 40 knots and MAX=breaks until you stop, completely
59.      Flair the 737 then engage the spoilers and reverse thrust
60.      Taxi off the runway
