Some complementary information might be useful:
- Autopilot FLCH mode improved
For small level changes (1000-4000 ft) it uses the 2-minute rule, that is AFDS attempt to reach the selected altitude in 2 minutes if possible (so called INTELLIGENT Flch). This gives a smoother ride for passengers (less ROC/ROD)
- ILS approach improved
ILS/AUTOLAND has now also "Autoland3" (fail operational), "Autoland2 "(fail passive) and "No Autoland" (no autoflare and rollout) ) depending on hydraulic or electrical failures.
For example when Right Hydraulic Syst is off you get "Noland3" on Eicas and "Land2" on Pfd. When left Hydr Syst off, you get "No Autoland".
- HYDRAULIC system bugs fixed
In case of failures you get now the right messages on Eicas. This is also true for the ELECTRICAL system
- Hydraulic VALVES on the upper overhead fixed
They stay always ON. Those buttons are reserved for maintenance people and are never touched by pilots.
- RUDDER animation fixed
On the 777 the maximum rudder deflection is 27° at V1-135kts, 9° at 250 Kts and only 6° at FL330-Mmo.
Also, to increase rudder power, the lower part of the rudder (tab) moves twice as far as the upper part (Max 54°)
Hope that helps
